May 9, 2016 3:59 PM in response to shorts365by ChrisJ4203,These emails in Outlook, are they from a POP mail account? Are they still located on the server? If they are POP mail that you have moved to separate folders in Outlook, after removing them from the server, there is no way to get them on the iPad. That is how POP mail works. If it is an IMAP account, come back and explain what you have tried.

I have seen many programs stating it can be done but they are so confusing its driving me nuts. I need these emails but am tired of lugging this laptop around. how could something so simple be so **** hard

May 9, 2016 4:11 PM in response to shorts365by ChrisJ4203,You will have to look for 3rd party software then. I'm not sure about what to use, I've never tried to move POP mail around. I know that you can archive mail in Outlook, but the iPad does not use that type of file. Moving POP mail around is difficult, no matter what you are trying to do, especially when using a device like an iPhone or iPad, were you do not have access to the filing system.

May 9, 2016 4:18 PM in response to shorts365by elcpu,You should consider converting to an IMAP account, they are easy to install and sync across devices. This article may help in transferring the emails once you have an IMAP account. Not easy as Chris mentioned.

May 9, 2016 4:46 PM in response to shorts365by ShagCA,Let me get this straight. You're using Outlook with a POP3 account. That means you have a PST (personal folder) file/files on your computer.
What you gotta do now is look for an iOS app that can download PST file from a cloud storage service and stores it locally on the iPad then open that PST file to see the content of your mailbox. I know none of that apps because I don't use it.

Again, I don't use apps that opens Outlook PST file so I don't know how well that app works.
