I understand that you are having some issues with starting up your MacBook. Let's go over some additional troubleshooting to get this worked out.
The next thing I would suggest to try is starting up in Single User mode and use the fsck command. This would be equivalent to using the Verify Disk command in Disk Utility. Take a look at the article below and then let me know what you find out.
