Q: Windows 10 wifi, working but can't see my home wifi
I have a 2012 mac mini, i've installed windows 10 with bootcamp, in windows various wifi networks are available, the only problem is my own home wifi never shows up.
- my mac mini finds and connects to my home wifi fine when running OS X
- my windows 10 laptop finds and connects to my home wifi fine
- various phones/tablets etc all connect fine
things i've tried
- rebooting the router
- moving the router
- in device manager on windows 10 in bootcamp, everything looks like it is fine, there are no exclamation marks anywhere, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the wifi drivers but this makes no difference (wifi networks are available, just not my home wifi)
I can't really think of anything else to try.
Anyone any ideas?
Mac mini, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

after some time googling I fixed this issue by using a web browser to go into the router settings and changing the wireless channel from 13 to 10. my home wifi then showed up straight away.
