Q: email stuck trying to send email

It worked for my Iphone 6+ , thank you kindly. I have been stucked few times with same problem, but only when without WIFI or signal on (in the plane), the the email automatically goes in the out box, and the mails remain there and all except one and that is the one which can't be deleted... it must be a bug on 6+ as it work on my 4+, 6, 

Perfect solution, thank you. My mail was stuck trying to send a large video. This kept draining the battery even though there was no other activity!

omg thank u sooooo much this helped me. My unsent email was in outbox for a week! And I first tried everything u had said first! Lol I'm grateful!

Thank you!!!!!! Email stuck for two months! Other emails were not sending properly because of that first one and had to go to the outgoing box to "hard" send them. Had given up after hard resets, deleting the account and even searching here, but without the correct words this thread was hard to find until now!
