Q: My questions aren't listed under “All Activity” or “Unanswered Questions”

The site uses the term unanswered for a thread that hasn't had a reply. A thread can be answered but still unresolved. Often resolved threads aren't marked as solved either but that is another issue.
See Have fun. You deserve it. and Awards for information on the recently introduced gamification features. The system was introduced without much regard to previous activity. It will have been your first new thread since it was enabled. Presumably you asked your question in a Mac OS X forum as your profile now shows that as a specialty.

May 11, 2016 8:16 AMby wendyfromreidsville,Yes, I did say that this post is listed under “All Activity.” But there is another that doesn’t show up in my Activity Stream at all and I believe that Eric Root, who was trying to help me, was never notified that I posted the information he requested. Normally, he’s very good about following up.

Again, I think it is pretty close to two weeks in your own Activity Stream - In my WorkFlow, I do not find Activity to help me be productive, so I do not use it for my own stuff (other folks = YES = that's how I found out about Eric's post!)

Eric (or any other user) is in control of how or whether he gets notified. It has nothing to do with whether or not the post shows in your recent activity. Also, keep in mind that everyone here is a volunteer and he may just have not had a chance to to get back to you.

Keep in mind that, if for some reason, Eric does not have notifications enabled for that thread or for you or is not following the thread, it won't matter if you post again. He still wouldn't know without looking at the thread. I'm not saying that's what's going on in this particular case but it is something that can explain why people don't answer your post.
