May 11, 2016 8:29 AM in response to Lest0907by Tesserax,The iPhone must be on the same network as the Extreme in order to "find" it. Since the iPhone only support Wi-Fi, it would have to first connect to the Extreme's Wi-Fi. By default, the Extreme will provide an unsecured Wi-Fi network, with a network name of something like: Apple Network NNNNNN.
Try connecting your iPhone to that network, and then, use the AirPort Utility app to make any configuration changes to the Extreme as required.

not sure where to go from here.
When you say that you "Just Got" the AirPort Extreme, I assume that to mean that the AirPort Extreme is new, with factory default settings, correct?
If yes, follow the instructions in the printed Setup Guide that came with the AirPort Extreme to get it configured to work with your modem. Reference....page 12 in the Setup Guide.
On the Home Screen for your iPhone.....
Tap Settings
Tap WiFi
Tap on AirPort Extreme under the heading of SETUP NEW AIRPORT BASE STATION
The example below shows an AirPort Express as the new AirPort base station. You will see AirPort Extreme on your iPhone screen
When you tap on AirPort Extreme, the setup "wizard" will open up, analyze the network, and guide you through.
