Q: Lost Library

Hi,

After installing the latest iTunes update I lost most of my library. Only the songs downloaded were showing in iTunes. All the content that I had uploaded from CDs has gone. The songs are still however on my ipod. Does anyone know how I can move the songs back into my iTunes library from my ipod?

Hi there Samholo,

It sounds like you are missing a lot of your content after you updated your iTunes application. I would use the following article to help you troubleshoot that:

See:
Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash if your library previously held all your media.
Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device to grab what is on the device and not in the library or computer.
Backup your iTunes for Windows library with SyncToy to preserve your library in future.
