May 12, 2016 5:00 PM in response to Yoshiidudby Jonathan UK,Hi
There is presently no way around the requirement for your iPhone to be connected to Wi-Fi in order to update the software on Apple Watch.
Perhaps you could arrange to connect to Wi-Fi at a family member's or friend's house (which may be more convenient than using a public Wi-Fi location)?

May 13, 2016 12:34 PM in response to Yoshiidudby Carolyn Samit,It must be a very slow Wi-Fi connection and can actually time out (disconnect).
If you are using a public Wi-Fi, your personal data could be at risk.

"there is two computers running from it"
That may be why it's so slow.

May 13, 2016 1:20 PM in response to Yoshiidudby Yoshiidud, restarting the iphone has resolved the problem
i believe i let the watch get to far away from the phone at one point and took it off the charger too...
most likely the reason... (and slow internet)

May 13, 2016 1:23 PM in response to Yoshiidudby Jonathan UK,Do not remove your watch from the charger until the update has been completed.
Also keep your iPhone next to your watch throughout.
