Q: using iPhoto share (public), how can a 3rd party become a subscriber without my adding that person?

an uninvited 3rd party became a subscriber to my shared iPhoto album (public).  I do not understand how that could happen.

It has the same effect, and that was matters. The person becomes a subscriber, sees the names of all subscribers, can use up my allowance fore shared photos, add comments to my photos, see the photos all other subscribers posted.

Has anyone already tested, if this is happening if the shared album is NOT public (as in this case)? I'm wondering. Maybe I will find the time to test this on the upcoming weekend.

On a public album I don't see it as a problem if subscriptions can be passed on.
