Q: How to fix 'Remote' app by Apple

hi,

I noticed that the app 'Remote' by Apple works fine until your idevice falls into sleep mode.

Unblocking my idevice from sleep mode and reopening 'Remote' app the screen of the app itself starts to blink continuously making it impossible to use the app.

The solution to the problem is to close the app (in backgroun) and then reopen it.

Is there an official bug fix to it?

Is there an alternative to this app?

thanks

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.1

I am not completely satisfied about the Apple Remote app either, it's poorly scripted if you'd ask me (under Apple's high standards).

You can try reporting the bug to Apple: Report a Problem to Apple. Apple doesn't read these discussions.

I haven't experienced this problem. What troubleshooting steps have you taken? I'd consider resetting network settings and deleting the app and reinstalling it as first step.
