Since Flash has security weaknesses which Adobe fixes with updates, Apple is blocking Flash if the installed version is too old. You can check if you have the current version installed by opening System Preferences>Flash Player, clicking the Updates tab and then the Check Now button. It's also good practice to allow Adobe to install the updates automatically. Once you're current or nearly so, you can check if you're current at this Adobe website.

Sep 27, 2016 5:18 AM in response to Brother Strong Armby Lexiepex,Open Safari->Preferences->Security, then select check "allow Plug-ins" and then click the button next to this. On the left you see the AdobeFlashPlayer when it is installed, on the right you see how to "allow" it.
