May 14, 2016 4:37 AM in response to Carolyn Samitby Mike626,Well that's common sense but I have never owned an expensive watch that has that limitation. None of my iPhone's have lost their screen when being handled with lotion in the sun.

May 16, 2016 4:30 PM in response to Mike626by MacOwner40,Here's what I would do:
A) Buy a protective case
B) Take your watch off.
Cases aren't that expensive, so you could probably find a decent one at the Apple Store or another retailer like Best Buy or Amazon.

Aug 16, 2016 1:28 PM in response to Mike626by jwflutterby,Same problem but I don't use sun lotion or sit out in the sun very often. I was outside (in the shade) cleaning up my yard when I heard a strange clicking noise, happened to look down after about the 20th time hearing it and noticed my screen hanging by the cable! Took it to an Apple Store but they wouldn't swap it out even though it was *clearly* defective They were nice enough to offer to either send me out a new one if I paid a $550 ransom or let me go without my watch for a week or so by sending it in and letting them try to fix it, great support Apple!
