Q: MacBook 12" WiFi Performance

Hello everyone, thanks for reading.

I've replaced my MacBook 13" Retina model for the 12" Gold model.

So far I've been psyched by the butterfly keyboard, and it's performance and small size are perfect for me as a tech consultant who often travels between different countries.

Now for the matter at hand, my WiFi performance. First of all I'd like to state that the connection is fine, I get 300mpbs transfer rates on a 5GHz channel so it's not a matter of bad WiFi signal.

The case:

- Perfect signal

- No connection drops whatsoever.

- Connect easily to different networks, no problem there.

When I browse the internet, download apps or use netflix, it seems that there's just a really weird drop in speed. For example when I connect my iPad Air 2 or MacBook Air it's blazing fast. But the 12" just lacks that speed. It really bothers me when setting up WiFi networks for customers because when I want to test something I can't rely on my hardware.

My question:

Does anyone experience the same problem? What are your experiences on this matter?

It's hard to explain this to Apple support because they told me to test my WiFi signal etc. But I encounter this issue on ALL networks.

Thank you!
