Q: Accessing a shared

Hello,

I think I already know the answer to this (no!) but...

If I have an iCloud.com account but no iPad, iPhone or any other Apple hardware, can I access an iCal calendar which has been shared with me?

I only work from a PC running Windows.

Thanks.

    Hi lauaffleck,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! I'm sure we can help you out with your question, or at least get you pointed in the right direction. I'm a bit unclear on the specifics of your question, but if you have received a shared calendar invite to your iCloud email address, you should be able to accept it by logging in at iCloud.com, as noted in the following article:

iCloud: Reply to a shared calendar invitation

    Regards

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

I am not sure this helps me, let me explain...

I do not have an iPad, iPhone, Mac or any other apple device, I simply have an iCloud.com account linked to my personal email address. With this account I am only able to see Pages, Numbers , Keynote & Settings as icons when I login. Someone has shared their iCal calnedar with me but when I click 'join calendar' I just get taken to my iCloud account which has no iCal app, just the four icons mentioned above. I think this is becuse I have no device.

So my question is, if I have no Apple device but I do have an iCloud.com account, can I accept a shared calendar invitation, view that calendar, edit that calendar etc.?

    Thanks,

    Laura.

    Hi lauaffleck,

Do you currently have iCloud set up to sync to your calendar on your Windows machine, as outlined here:
