It says that the post is branched to a new discussion but does not allow one to get there?

Thank you. The branched to new discussion means a post has been deleted and is now only viewable by the hosts.

It also can be used when a post has branched to a new discussion. If you ever see Branched from an earlier discussion tap it and it will take you to the original.
