Q: iTunes slow, and freezing when connecting iPhone

Hi, I know this issue has been a problem for quite a while but no solutions I've found have solved it for me. iTunes completely freezes when I connect my iPhone to my computer. It hasn't always been like this, as it worked fine on my same laptop, however that was before I did a system restore. This is extremely frustrating ans I would very much appreciate any possible solutions anyone has.
