May 15, 2016 5:38 AM in response to rcastardoby SGIII,★HelpfulI don't think you can lock the scroll, but you can zoom in/out by standard pinch-in pinch-out gestures (similar to the way you would do that on a trackpad on the Mac; I mention that because this is the Numbers for Mac forum.)

May 15, 2016 5:44 AM in response to SGIIIby rcastardo,Thank you - I did try the finger pinching iPad gestures; helps but there is a limit to the reduction and it still "floats".
I posted here because there is no NUMBERS FOR iPad FORUM displayed when I entered my question.
I will try and query that forum ..
Thanks again, I guess the import of a Microsoft based document just doesn't mesh with the Apple way....but I'd rather have the Apple way than Bill Gates' way.
This spreadsheet was generated on my Mac NOT a PC.

May 15, 2016 6:51 AM in response to rcastardoby SGIII,Numbers for iPad questions can be posted in the iWork for iOS forum. But the behavior is similar. Instead of being "fixed" you feel as if you are floating like a bird and can quickly soar way up or dive way down. Not so bad once you get used to it.

May 16, 2016 12:45 PM in response to rcastardoby jaxjason,Since you're on an iPad, can you please post a screenshot of what you are seeing? I have had an issue with text size when opening excel files. I typically have to reset the font settings back to something that works.
