Q: iPhoto library after OS X El Capitan

Hello everyone,

I have updated my system today to El Capitan. I used to have iPhoto on my computer, and it has all of my memories.

I no longer have iPhoto, instead, there is a "photos" app. How can I restore my iPhoto pictures?? I am really freaking out right now, are they still on my computer at least? Any help is Greatly appreciated!!

Launch Photos and it will migrate your last used iPhoto library to Photos - How Photos handles content and metadata from iPhoto and Aperture - Apple Support - if it does not for soe reason simply drag your iPhoto library to the Photos icon in the Dock to migrate it

Then study and learn Photos - if is generally much better than iPhoto but is a new and different program and has a learning curve - and ask questions in the Photos for Mac forum for help -- Photos for Mac
