Q: Storage numbers don't make sense
Both "Disk Utility" and "About This Mac" show 320GB being used for "apps" in the little bar where the usage is broken down into apps, music, etc.
I most definitely DO NOT have 320GB in apps, the real number is closer to 15GB.
In "Disk Utility", under said bar, it states (roughly):
Capacity: 480GB
Available: 400GB
Used: 80GB
These are, actually, the correct numbers for what I really am using and have available. I just don't understand where these ghost 320GB in "apps" are coming from. Also, this number actually keeps increasing, it was 250GB several days ago.
As you can see, this Macbook is practically empty, the only thing I have on it apart from the OS and all its own apps, is Microsoft Office, League of Legends, Spotify, smcFanControl, Razer Synapse, and about 700MB in word/PDF documents, that's it. It boots and works exactly as should be expected for its hardware specs, which means pretty amazing, so this problem doesn't really have any setbacks other than the fact that it annoys and confuses me.
I don't use time machine, it is set to OFF.
This is a Macbook Pro Mid 2012 with a 480GB Kingston SSD + 8GB 1600 MHz Corsair DDR3 (2 x 4GB)
Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5

Thanks in advance, here are screenshots of "About This Mac" and "Disk Utility".
