Q: How do I unhide folders created by Event Manager X now that I have Yosemite

I am trying to unhide several folders that I hid using Event Manager X. Now that I have Yosemite I can not see the folders in my library. Any tips?

when importing footage you will have a choice to leave footage in current folder or copy the footage into the program. Choose leave footage in folder when you import go to options to do so!

I assume you can see the Hidden Events (and Hidden Projects) folders in the Finder?

If you want to work with them in the current version of FCP X, you will need to update them. Those events and projects can only be recognized by the updating process if they are in folders named Final Cut Events and Final Cut Projects, respectively. If they are on your start up disk, the two folders need to be in your Movies folder. Of course, if you don't need to work on them, you don't need to update them at all.

Here is a document that explains the updating process in more detail.

    Good luck.
