Q: iMessage contact list question

If people share a first name (ie.  Joe)  on your contact list, and you want to have one of them be the default 'Joe'  that automatically comes up in the list that is generated as you start typing their name  is there a way to do that?

In my case, I need to write to 'Joe A' frequently during the day, but when I type Joe into the address area, another  'Joe B" who I rarely write to  keeps automatically coming up as the first default Joe, even though their last name is lower in the alphabet.

Thank you

Try to  swap  the first and the last name of the contact, maybe it will help.

    Hi,

    In Contacts change these settings.

Although I show the First name first they are sorted by Last name.

Hence joe B would show up first compared to joe A
