Q: My iCloud won't restore on my replacement iPhone 6s that I received today. Any suggestions?

The flashlight on my first iPhone 6S stopped working, so I took it into the store to get a replacement today. While trying to set the new phone up, I logged in to my iCloud in order to get the backup on my latest phone, but the screen keeps saying "Cannot Restore Backup" in a while box. Any suggestions on next steps?

Hi ..

This may apply to your situation > Restoring from an iTunes or iCloud backup when a later version of iOS is required

FYI .. you must use the same Apple ID on the replacement iPhone that was used on the old one in order to restore from a backup.
