Q: how can i fix a iphone thats been reset and asking for another apple id and i dont have the information

So my little cousin bought a phone from a classmate of her. she didnt know to have him remove the account from the phone. the phones been reset and asking for the old owners id and password. how can i fix it and add my apple id and password.

    you would need to have your little cousin contact her classmate to provide that information to remove the iCloud activation lock. 

     

    You can't use it until that has been removed.

    As a second-hand owner of the iPnone, here is ALL you can do:

     

    Turn off Find My iPhone Activation Lock - Apple Support

     

    Activation Lock is an Anti-Theft system.  If we knew how to bypass it, it wouldn't be much of a deterrent.

     

    (Note: I'm not calling you a thief, just stating the facts as I know them.)
