Q: Why doesn't some shared music play from the cloud in itunes

I am using home sharing. All of my music plays from the original computer but some music does not play from the other computers. I can see the tracks but nothing happens when they are clicked. Some but not all of the tracks that do not play are home recordings. Everything plays fine from the main computer. The first computer is running windows 7 and the others are running Windows 10.

    Is the main computer that holds the music the Windows 7 computer?

     

    Try copying one of the music tracks to one of the computers where it does not play using Home Sharing. Does it now play from that computer.

     

    What format is the music in? MP3, AAC (m4a), WAV etc.?
