Q: Google Chrome constantly crashing on Macbook Pro
Ok Chrome crashing has happend to many times now and I need to investigate.
My problem is every so often chrome will kind of freeze. Tabs won't load but I can still click around. Any attempt to close chrome will crash my whole Mac (Not fully crashing it but any attempt to open programs, use terminal or restart the machine just hang).
I also have a Mac Pro and Chrome works great. I have tried completely uninstalling Chrome with CleanMyMac and AppZapper many times for the problem to return pretty much straight away.
Does anybody have any experience with this/a solution.
Before you reccomend Safari I also use Windows for work purposes and while Safari is good on OS X it really can't compare on Windows imo.
Thanks for any Information!

Found the problem for me. Turns out it was crashing at certain times time machines started backing up. Had a Google of that as well and it turns out Sophos anti-virus was actually the cause. Something about it trying to access the time machine drive while it was in the backup process. Have since uninstalled it as adding the drive to my ignore list didn't do anything and have not yet had a freeze so will keep you updated if it does.
