I understand you are having trouble working with apps that are installed on your iPad Air after connecting it to a TV to view Youtube. The first thing I would suggest is to disconnect the HDMI cable from the iPad, close all of your apps, and restart your iPad. If the issue persists, force start your iPad. You can also try resetting your settings. Click on the links below for more information.

May 19, 2016 11:11 AM in response to duddonestuaryby BBoiss,Also, be aware that a lot of app developers have invoked an HDCP in their apps to prevent the use of this feature. They have their reasons. I don't always understand them, but oh well. I guess I just having figured out, or really even pursued the option of how I could record content being streamed to my TV.
