Q: DDouble capitalizing first letter in Community Only

EEvery time I post in these Community forums on my iPad Pro 9.7" in Safari, it capitalizes and duplicates the first letter. I keep going back and fixing it in my usual posts, but I left it on this post so you could see what I'm talking about. No other page in Safari is doing this. Only the Apple Support Community. I've tried all the standard fixes (restarting, quitting Safari, etc.) but it looks like it may have to do with the actual site itself. I've noticed other people's posts with this same occurrence, so it's not just me. Thoughts?

Fellow Community Members!

 

On my iPad Pro 9.7" with iOS 9.3.1, I installed a third-party keyboard "PadKeys" and it doesn't double-type/capitalization of the first letter of the paragraphs on this Community pages anymore!

    Thank you so much. PadKeys has made my day! Need to relearn where punctuation is on a real keyboard, but I'll get the hang of it. And it doesn't double capitalize, just as you said.

    Thanks to TJHahn for the discovery and Diana McCall for positive feedback. The double caps have plagued the Forum for two years next month. I'll be spreading the news. The Forum always needs new talent so I'm looking forward to seeing both of your contributions for a long time to come.

    When you do "spread the news", if you are spreading it to the powers that be, you can safely say that whatever it is about custom keyboards that defeats the glitch proves that iPad built-in keyboard and TinyMCE editor do not play nice. Simple Sherlock Holmes-ian elimination leaves "no matter how improbable".

    Great Big Apple, (just) Big Jive & TinyMCE should be able to knock this one out in a short order - if they ever had the Pow-Wow, that is.

     

    One question though... is it only double Caps, or is it double first-letter-of-the-paragraph?

    If you look at the title of this thread, it gives an example. "DDouble Capitalization..."

     

    Wow, that bug was making me crazy. Er... Crazier. So glad I found a workaround.

    So... you tap the Caps key(to display the Caps - like pressing the SHIFT key on a computer) > then tap a letter (any letter?) = DDouble Cap is displayed - right?

     

    Does this happen in the middle of a text string, or only at the BBeginning of a NNew PParagraph?
