Feb 1, 2016 7:02 PM in response to rocohiboby iMogal, rocohibo answer helped me out, although there was no need to reset everything.
I tried to send myself a small video through email which caused the app to crash.
I just disabled the WIFI then opened the app. That allowed me to select the outgoing
email and delete it. thus stopping the crashing....
HTH

Feb 3, 2016 1:43 PM in response to marioc13by lynsykes,The answer from marioc13 actually helped me. Saw that there was an email stuck in the outbox for one of my emails. Deleted that email and readded it.
Now the mail app won't crash.
I did do all the soft resets, etc. It didn't work for me.

Sep 8, 2016 1:44 PM in response to RonnyBby itzmadnezz,I had the same issue with my iphone 6+. I switched it into Airplane mode and I could access my email. I found a certain message that was the issue. I deleted it and the email app works fine after! Thanks to rika76's suggestion! I guess as long as you don't connect to wifi you can access your email app! HTH and good luck!
