Q: Ipod Touch gen4 Won't Sync with Itunes 12.3.3.17
What the title says. It recognizes the Ipod and I can even see what songs are on the Ipod, but I cannot change its contents in any way. When I press the sync button, the "Syncing" words flash in the top middle display for a second, then disappear. I noticed that all the songs on my Ipod were labeled as "Other" instead of Audio. Despite my Ipod playing music perfectly, I wanted to get this fixed, so I have tried various fixes:
1) Changing link cables. No effect.
2) Uninstalling Apple software in the order mentioned in the uninstalling article. Reinstalled, but no change either.
3) Reset my Ipod from the Ipod itself. Besides the obvious of wiping my music off of the Ipod this is where I stand now. When I try to check music to sync, for instance a playlist, the disk space bar at the bottom will fill with the correct amount of data labeled "Audio." But when I click sync, the bar goes back to its nearly empty state like it was before I ever checked to add the playlist to the Ipod.
Assistance would be appreciated.
