Q: iPhone calling from Mac not working

iPhone continuity calling works from my iPad but not my Mac.  Yosemite 10.10.  iPhone 5 with iOS 8.1  Using same Apple ID, everything turned on in FaceTime and iPhone per instructions.  Both on the same Wi-Fi network

Get this message: IPHONE NOT AVAILABLE,  your iPhone and Mac must be on the same Wi-Fi network.

They are on the same network.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

Turning FaceTime off and on again on my iPhone worked for me when I upgraded my 5s to a 6se.

    you mean iPhone 5se.

And you mean iPhone SE... Moral, If you're going to be pedantic, be absolutely correct.

Either way, it still worked for me and I'm now very happy

This happened to me too, was on-going for weeks, I think triggered my enabling Wi-Fi Calling on my iPad. I went into Facetime's Preferences on the Mac, and hit the "Upgrade to Wi-Fi Calling" button. After that, works like a charm.

I had the same problem. In my case I used a router as a repeater and this caused the problem. To solve this I set up the 2nd router as a separate client and now it works. Hope this helps someone.
