Q: New IClould 10.2 does not install on Windows 10

I have tried to install ICloud for windows 10.2 (latest just released today) on 3 different computers on fully update to date windows 10. It just doesn't work.
I have tried:

a) rebooting (3 times of course)

b) uninstalling ITunes as whole and installing both
c) Downloading it separately and installing it
d) downloading it as part of Itunes installation and/or update.
e) installing with UAC disabled
f) installing as administrator

Nothing works, in ALL cases error message is same, nothing in events logs that can point me to more details, and no error number or anything to go on. I am the support personnel of my own computer so I have already contacted me, out of options

Any help is appreciated greatly as this is quite fustrating.

Ok some more information I don't know why I didn't think of this before. I ran the logging option of msiexe as follows (as administrator for cmd.exe):

First: In file explorer copied the downloaded from apple iCloud64.exe (I'm running Windows 10 x64) into C:\Temp (which I previously made in File Explorer)

Second: Make sure outlook is not running. (for some reason applies needs this to happened, don't care its not running)

    Then

    1. Start -> search -> "cmd.exe" (no quotes)
    2. Right click on it in when it shows up in returned values select "Run as administrator"
    3. type in "cd\" (no quotes) and press the enter key
    4. Type "cd C:\Temp" (no quotes and press the enter key

    5. Type "msiexec /i C:\temp\icloud64.msi /l* C:\temp\iCloud64.log" (no quotes)

Of course installation failed again and I got same meaningless error message in the message box which is not oh so helpful. But now I have log. Much of it is just blah blah blah, but at the bottom it says:

Having the same issue too.  I also notice that Office 365 did an automatic update on the same day it started showing up in Reliability Index (though a few minutes before the logs says it was installed).

As a note to anyone else there is a page here that I found after much searching. I have tried literally everything on this page including wiping out iTunes and reinstalling, then wiping the OS and reinstalling on a spare computer and neither worked but anyone with a problem similar but not exacty similar might have some luck ->

    https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-6562

I wish they had a page like that for Icloud on PC, that document is primarily focused on ITunes as a whole on PC....but still worth a shot.

This issue appears to be in case related to issue in the msi package Apple created. To verify if this is the case someone at apple I hope is listening and just reads this post ->

    http://windows-installer-xml-wix-toolset.687559.n2.nabble.com/Error-2836-The-co ntrol-Next-on-the-dialog-td704903.html

While not the same button as the error above in the post says its the back button; however, it would appear the person that created the page is trying to set focus to the back button that is either not visible or not enabled. Its entierly possible this is a symptom of the real issue and not the cause. Only way to determine this is for someone to look at the source which obviously I cannot do. Until then I'm stuck

This does give me a little pause no one from apple has responded to this and makes me think my choice of apple for my media might have been the best course. I'm hoping someone else either finds the issue or tells me what I'm doing wrong.
