Q: Why can't iTunes12.4 see newly created pdf's in iBooks?
I want to sync newly created pdf's stored in iBooks1.5, to my iPad Air iOS9.3.2.
I must use iTunes12.4 to sync between iBooks on my iMac and the iPad Air.
I do not want to rent by the month storage in the icloud.
Why can't iTunes12.4 see all newly created pdfs stored in iBooks1.5?
iTunes can see older pdf's, just not newly created pdf's as old as one or two months ago.
Does anyone know how to trash iBooks Cache if it exists?
I know how to trash the plist file. That does not solve the issue when I did it.

Finally, I made a new user (non administrator) account on the iMac.
Started iBooks up in this new account.
But this time, I chose to enable iBooks in iCloud.
Logged out of the new account.
Logged into my main iMac account.
Deleted the new user account.
iTunes12.4 now recognizes new pdfs in iBooks.
I don't understand, if I am not storing pdfs in the cloud, why turning on iCloud in iBooks worked. I do not want to rent by the month storage for everything I own in the cloud, so I sync from computer to device. If iTunes12.4 is a database app, it shouldn't need the cloud to sync locally. Maybe it is some weird on-off switch written into iTunes12 that enabling the cloud turns on pdf syncing.
