May 21, 2016 9:24 AM in response to suzieeehby Tesserax,★HelpfulSorry, but you can't "fix" this. A solid amber LED status light would indicate a power or some other failure of the base station. There are no user-serviceable parts that you can replace.
If the product is less than 1 year old, Apple will replace the device for you.....or.....if you have AppleCare in effect on a qualified product, the AirPort base station will be covered for up to 3 years from its purchase date.
If you have an Apple Store near you, take the base station to them. Otherwise, contact Apple Support directly at http://www.apple.com/support/contact/

May 21, 2016 9:28 AM in response to suzieeehby Tesserax,One thing you can try before giving up on the Express, is to perform a "factory default" reset on it to see if this will help "recover" it. If it goes through the reset successfully, it should now have a flashing amber, not solid amber, status light. You may have to try resetting it a few times. Good luck!
