Q: It Mac partition not visible after partition creation on Windows
I have recently installed Windows with Boot Camp onto my base model Macbook Air (10.11.4). I wanted to make the Boot Camp partition smaller, so being unable to do this in (mac) Disk Utility, I booted onto Windows and used the built in disk utility of Windows. I shrinked the Boot Camp partition and created a partition with all the shown "unallocated space" in FA32 format, thinking that it would be able to be deleted and the space allocated to Mac partition.
However, when I booted onto mac partition, this newly created partition was not visible and after I had shut the Macbook down and turn it back on, Recovery Mode was not accessible (it directed me to internet recovery), Windows booting into blue screen and Mac partition not being present when pressing options during boot up (with only windows partition being present). A some articles said that it's because the MBR is messed up, but in those articles, Mac partition was perfectly fine, with only Windows being inaccessible.
So my questions are:
1)What has caused this to happen? MBR? Partition Maps malfunctioning?
2)How do I fix it?
Thank you in advance
