Q: When I try to sync my iPods, it shows up on the bar to the left, but all the songs are gray and it won't let me organize, delete, or add anything. What can I do?

When I plug it in, iTunes recognizes the iPod. I can browse the iPod, but I can't access the menu to sync the iPod or change any of the songs or music on it. I have click the ipod icon and nothing comes up or changes.

I am running Windows 10, iTunes 12.4.0.119 32-bit, iPod Nano 2nd generation 4 GB
My other iPod is having the same problems iPod Classic 120 GB

iPod nano, Windows 10, null

You need to click the device icon to reach the settings pages for it.

Is your system set to use enlarged fonts? If so set to 100% and try again. Font scaling may cause problems with iTunes not registering clicks properly. Otherwise try repairing iTunes from the programs and features control panel, or go for a full rebuild as shown in the second box of Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

When I try to sync my iPods, it shows up on the bar to the left...

If you are clicking the iPod in the sidebar, you need to click the iPod's device button on the horizontal bar.  That shows the iPod's settings screen.

but all the songs are gray and it won't let me organize, delete, or add anything.

That probably means your iPod is set to use automatic syncing.  You need to update how iTunes automatically syncs the iPod; you cannot manually change he iPod's content, if it is set to Sync Music.  After clicking the iPod's device button, go to the iPod's Music settings screen to change how iTunes syncs the iPod.

If you want to manually manage the iPod's content, on the iPod's Summary settings screen, set it to Manually manage music [and videos].

NOTE:  Is the iPod currently set to sync with a different iTunes library?  If so, that's why you cannot update it.  When you associate the iPod with your current iTunes library, it's existing content is erased and replaced with content from your current iTunes library.

If the hunch about a new computer is correct copy over the library from your old computer or see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
