Q: Messages automatically get deleted after update to ios9

Hi Apple, I recently updated to ios9 and i unfortunately forgot to backup my data.

Right now, in terms of getting new messages, my iPhone automatically deletes ALL my conversations and completely empties my Messages inbox. I already toggled the Messages Settings to "Keep Forever" but it still gets deleted.

My phone has a problem ringing also. It wont ring whenever i receive calls or messages even if my ringer settings are not on Silent mode.
Please reply ASAP.

Try to reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on this device.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
Press and hold on the Home button
Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.
