What I find interesting is the zealous nature that you and Csound1 have with telling me how I should feel and that having an opinion is wrong.  The nature of software is constant improvement.  Therefore, if no one ever complained or became frustrated with the functionality, then it would never get better.

I never told you how you should feel. I merely commented that I have found that getting "infuriated" by little things leads to greater unhappiness. If you want to get your knickers in a twist over trivialities, by all means, have at it.

You shouldn't have to go through that whole processes. There should be a field to update your password.

Opinions can't be 'wrong'...only facts can.

But, generally, you do. Life is like that.

I do not believe your opinion, and that is my opinion.

That still doesn't make it "Wrong".

Actually, the phrase you are searching for is "Agree With".

But, I still maintain that I shouldn't have to go through lengthy process. There should be an "Update Password" field or button.

Who said it was wrong, not me, I just don't agree with you, and as you don't use an iPhone what does it matter to you anyway?

But, there isn't and no one here can do anything about it. Submit feedback.

In case anyone is interested, the ability to change the password for an E-Mail account in Settings, and its location to do so, is tied directly to the type of account / provider it is and comes from.

It really has very little to do with iOS or the iPhone.

for instance, Gmail will not allow you to change the password, so you have to delete, and recreate the account.

Other providers such as Hotmail, will allow you to do this, but may be in a different location than regular POP or IMAP providers.

I have 8 different E-mail accounts setup on my iPhone, and the only one that does not let you change the password is Gmail. This is just down to how Google works.

Every other provider I have has a place to edit the password for the account.

Also, for what its worth, I do have an android phone also, and guess what, you cannot change the Password to a Gmail account either. You need to remove the account entirely to change it.
