May 24, 2016 8:28 AM in response to romadby romad,Well, I tried it but it didn't work smoothly. When I tried to send a message from my iMac to my iPad, it was delivered to my iMac right away but took about 10 minutes to arrive at my iPad.

May 24, 2016 12:51 PM in response to romadby Ralph Johns (UK),★HelpfulHi Romad,
I have seen this delay myself at times.
It appears to be somewhat random with no clear explanation as to why it happens.
Making sure all devices involved are using the same Apple ID and iPhone number odes seem to help.
That said the issue can last for months before seemingly resolving itself with no input from the User.

May 24, 2016 12:50 PM in response to Ralph Johns (UK)by romad,I've been working with Adam Engst of TidBITS and he said the delay may have been due to me only enabling Messages this morning. So I tried again a few minutes ago, and a message w/o attachment took just under 2 seconds, while the same message with the attachment took about 5 seconds. My iPad is WiFi so it doesn't have cell capability. Whatever, it seems to be working now.
