Q: Suddenly getting hourly emails from my appleid@icloud.com with "alert" in there

It's September 24 2014 and suddenly I notice an email from my own iCloud.com email ID to my  regular gmail account. There is nothing more in there than:

In the subject line: Alert -

In the body:

Septermber 24, 2014 12:00 AM:

Email

These email come in hourly. Within minutes of a perfect hour: 6.47 AM, then 7.46AM, 8.43AM, 9.44AM, 10.42AM, 11.44AM, 12.44PM, and so on.

I checked reminders and calendar in iCloud and have no clue where this is coming from. Has anyone seen this? Tried surfing the web but no one seems to have posted on this. Hope someone recognizes this.

Rickvw1970 - Did you ever find out cause or how to stop the alerts?  The same thing started happening to me yesterday - hourly message sent from my iCloud account (which I rarely use).

Just wondering if it's alert about something important but no details are show.

    Thanks,
