Q: Is anyone else having iPhone 6 Plus charging issues after update to 9.3.2?

The iPhone 6 Plus updated to 9.3.2. Since then, it has not "recognized" real apple brand charging cables unless attached to an iMac. What is going on?

MacBook Pro (17-inch Mid 2010), OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

    Hello sbossies,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I understand that your iPhone is displaying an alert that says your accessory isn't supported when plugging it in. The support article, If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won‘t charge, provides information on troubleshooting issues with your iPhone. But it also says the following regarding the issue you describe:

If an alert says that your accessory isn't supported or certified

These alerts can appear for a few reasons: Your iOS device might have a dirty or damaged charging port, your charging accessory is defective, damaged, or non Apple-certified, or your USB charger isn't designed to charge devices.

    1. Remove any debris from the charging port on the bottom of your device.
    2. Restart your iOS device.
    3. Try a different USB cable or charger.
    4. Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS.
    5. Contact Apple Support to set up service.

    Best regards.

HI Jeff: we have changed or disabled a number of phone features. When placing the phone on do not disturb and airplane mode, the battery still discharged over 10% in 25 minutes. Am impatiently waiting for the update fix to be released.

    Hey sbossies,

I see that the suggestions didn't seem to have resolved your issue. Looks like it is time for step 5 in the suggestions I provided:

Contact Apple Support to set up service.

    Cheers.
