Q: two monitors

Good Morning, this is actually about the 2009 mac pro. i want to run two monitors from the stock video card, it has a mini port and a dvii port, if i connect my cinema display to the mini port and a the older model display to the dvii port, will the monitors run simultaneously?

Yes, both will run. You can have the two displays mirror one or another or have an extended desktop.

Ok great thank you, do you know if these older 20 inch displays have dvi connections that are compatible with the dvii port on the 2009 mac pro

Yes, it is compatible. DVD is DVI
