Hello!
So I will get straight to it. I switched the emails and a new password for my Apple ID earlier and ever since, my phone has been asking me to put in the password for my previous email linked to the Apple ID. I try entering it but when I do, it tells me it's incorrect. I tried putting in my new one and that doesn't seem to work either. Please help me, it's very irritating as the pop-up doesn't stop.
Thank you in advance!
This one is, thankfully, very easy to solve now. Use your current password that you have made for the updated Apple ID to Sign Out of iCloud under Settings>iCloud. Yes, it will prompt you for the old email, but the two accounts are one in the same, just renamed. Once you sign out with your present password, sign back in with the correct Apple ID email and present password. Sign out of iTunes & App Store, iMessage, and Facetime as well if you have not already done this and back in with the new Apple ID information.
Do not make attempts to change your Apple ID email back to the previous email, as Apple now places a 30 day restriction on reusing a previously assigned email. Don't forget your capital letter or number when punching in your new password.
