Q: App that detects beeps

I am a hearing impaired person where one ear cannot hear anything, but I work in computer support. Often in server rooms there are beep sounds generated by some hardware for warnings. I wonder if anyone has come across a mobile app that can detect sound so I can use it to find out where the beep is coming from?

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.2

    Hi,

     

    I have 20% hearing in one ear and 40% in the other so I understand. Most of the time I miscalculate where sounds are coming from. I've yet to come across an iOS app for this purpose but what you can do is ask Apple directly on Twitter:   @AppleSupport
