May 24, 2016 8:00 AM in response to Demoby gsspike,I'll try that next. Something else my wife noticed is that it's the same thing in her car bluetooth. I verified that on my phone using bluetooth earbud.

May 24, 2016 8:00 AM in response to gsspikeby BBoiss,Yes, sorry I missed that part even after reading it and quoting it XD. I know that can be annoying when people do that. Truth is, I read about battery issues so often, I tend to default to the go to's for obvious improvement. That's embarrassing.

Based on this, it seems your phone is making some false connection with a bluetooth device where it is sending it's audio channel defaults.
I don't know if you tested this with just bluetooth off, but if you did and you were still having issues with sound...are you utilizing WiFi-Calling or a MicroCell of some sort? Make a call with Wi-Fi Calling - Apple Support

May 24, 2016 8:31 AM in response to BBoissby gsspike,The passcode was a keypad issue of the keypad input was not matching output. That seemed to clear itself after restoring the phone 4-5 times. This is so weird. I haven't tried any of these fixes on my wifes phone. Besides her not being here I chose to make my phone the guinea pig.

Okay so far Passcode seems resolved.
Where are we at with your screen going to sleep?
Bluetooth still seems to be an issue, and maybe the primary issue involving your calls.
With Bluetooth off, have you also tested a call with WiFi back on?

Jun 10, 2016 1:04 PM in response to BBoissby gsspike,Ok we had some changes now. People can hear me on the other end of a call but it's a little crackly. I can live with that for the short term.
Wifi calling made no difference they still couldn't hear me. But now that is working to but crackly to.
