Then why does my iPad Pro 9.7 keep prompting me to download it?
I have no idea, but Forbes and a dozen or so other tech news sites have reported confirmation from Apple that they have pulled iOS 9.3.2 for the iPad Pro 9.7".

May 24, 2016 5:24 PM in response to Michael Blackby lannette,I've read the article but it just asked me to download it again. There doesn't seem to a way to get rid of it and I'm afraid to poke around too much in case I accidentally download it. I'll have to contact support and see if they can get rid of it. You'd think if they can send it out they could cancel it. PIA.

May 24, 2016 5:31 PM in response to lannetteby TMHahn,For me and my iPad Pro 9.7", it kept prompting me to install it, having already downloaded it.
You can go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Storage: Manage Storage, find it, and delete that iOS 9.3.2 update.
Once I deleted the update, it stopped prompting me to download it again and obviously can't install.
This is what I get now.

May 24, 2016 5:46 PM in response to TMHahnby Michael Black,Good catch TMHahn - if it's downloaded it will keep prompting to install. Hopefully that fixes it for lannette and then it's a matter of waiting for the fix or next update.

And for those of you reading this thread with an iPhone 6+ - I updated to iOS 9.3.2 with no problems that a restart couldn't fix.

May 27, 2016 3:49 AM in response to Heaven1947by steveflynn,I just updated to 9.3.2 last night. tried to wake my iPad up this morning and it showed a pic of the cable and iTunes logo. went to my macbook and opened iTunes and tried to update again there, and got a message saying it can't update and now wants to do a factory restore. Thats a problem as I have not back up for a couple months due to my iCloud being full, and I'm in a country where it won't recognise my credit card (visa debit--says I must use a credit). So looks like I'm screwed and will lose valuable data and photos. Anyone know if its possible to downgrade without having to "brick" my iPad???

May 27, 2016 5:10 AM in response to steveflynnby MichelPM,Unfortunately, no.
Even if this was possible by jailbreaking, Apple usually pulls the ability to revert to a previous iOS version after a couple of days or so after its initial release.
So, it looks like your out of luck.
You know thar you can pay for more iCloud monthly storage space.
Apple only charges $.99/month U.S.D. for 50 Gbs of storage. $2.99/month U.S.D. for 256 GB of storage with is pretty cheap for either.
This is why you need to have some method and/or more robust and stable hardware to periodically save your mobile device data to.
A mobile computing device is NOT a permanent place to your store important data to. These devices are not as matured, stable and robust enough technology as a full blown laptop or desktop computer to trust for long-term data storage.
You need to have, at least, one other more robust and reliable source to store your important and precious data and images that you never want to lose.
Even on a more robust computer, you need to have/should have a backup of your important data on your computer, that you never want to lose, in case of hard drive failure or some other computer failure.
Also, there is a direct connect Flash drive backup solution from Sandisk, called, iXpand flash drives, the come in storage sizes up to 256 GBs to directly backup your IPad's data to.
