    What do you mean by "forgot my iPhone backup"?  Do you mean you encrypted the backup in iTunes and now you forgot the password?  If so, this is your only option:

    What if I can’t remember the password for my encrypted backup?

     

    Try using an iCloud backup.  Otherwise the bottom line is, there is not much you can do other than erasing & setting up your device as new.  You do get to make as many password guesses as you wish.  If you don't believe you set a password, try an empty or blank password.  Some users have reported some success with that.
