Q: OSX installer not found in App Store - why?
I plan to upgrade my 2010 Macbook Pro currently running Yosemite to a new SSD drive. I want to continue using the same OS on the new drive. To start the process I apparently need to make a bootable flash drive for Yosemite. In order to do this all the tutorials I've seen talk about downloading something called "OSX Installer" from the app store. When I search the app store I can find no such thing. Where am I going wrong?
MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

This takes me to El Capitan. So, does this mean I have to go with El Capitan, not Yosemite? I'm no sure how compatible that is with my old MBP.
Yosemite is no longer an option.
