Q: quality of photos off ipad

just had a reply about the quality of photos printed from my iPad mini.  They were printing too dark) Have just printed the same pictures from my PC and they have come out good. So I am still searching for a solution to this problem. My printer is brand new. An Epson expression XP 530.  Anybody else got any ideas as to the problem. Sorry to be a bother. But there has to be an answer  to this problem.

iPad Mini, iOS 9.1

You may need to adjust the printer settings on the iPad -

Thank you for your reply. not sure how to adjust settings of ipad!, but I have adjusted the colour on the photos before printing, but it made no difference. Will go to Epson to see if there is other setting for ipad printing. Really appreciate your  helpful suggestion.

There are no printer settings on the iPad, the adjustments would have to be made on the printer itself. However you may be able to download the Epson iPrint App and make some adjustments from there.

Hi  had a good browse through the settings on my new printer.  and hey! I think I've managed to sort out settings for ipad.... I lowered the density  and also found a setting "daylight". Printed off a couple of photos and they look fine.!  So it seems, on this new printer, I just cant print any photos without first making adjustments to suit photos. As  you say there are no printer settings on the iPad, the only settings there are, are to make the photos brighter or less depending on the light they are taken in.  I really appreciate your helpfulness. Thanks so much.
