Q: MacBook Pro Retina inoperable after running boot camp

HI,

Earlier today I installed Windows 10 on my mid 2012 Retina MacBook Pro. There were no problems except that there was some storage that appeared as unallocated. When I checked on disk utility, the system did not even recognize the existence of the missing storage, it just subtracted the unallocated storage from the total storage the laptop always had. I restarted the computer and logged in through windows 10, checked the system and it did appear as unallocated, so I ran a software to merge the unallocated storage with the windows partition. However, when I restarted the computer (as I was prompted to), the system said the process was interrupted, and the laptop froze. I did a hard reboot and pressed the option button, but neither Macintosh HD nor bootcamp appeared to log in. I had to go for an Internet recovery, but when I chose to install Mac OS again, the system said there was only 50gb of storage available only from the Windows partition I had previously made through boot camp. What happened with the rest of the storage?! Its like the storage that used to be Mac OS locked itself up and the system does not even recognize it! Please help, I only want to get my Mac OS working again with its 500gb of storage!

Thanks in advance,

E.
