How to use AirDrop with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Try a reset hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the device to boot back up.

    Then try again.

Just to be sure, do you have BOTH WI-FI & Bluetooth turned on?  And are you signed into iCloud?

9.3.1 and 9.3.2 no air drop. It was really a great feature and it worked like a dream come true up to 9.3.0. Airdrop between Mac's works but not iPhone to iPhone or iPhone to Mac. The suggestions from razmee and javalinga above make unfortunately no difference. It appears the "it just works" is becoming "maybe it works". Pity

Same issue here. I'm using an iPad pro, iPhone 6 and  27inch 5k Mac. All devises are on their latest software and linked with the same iCloud account and Wifi bluetooth is on.

My iPhone can see see iPad and vice-versa but both iOS devices can't find my iMac.

I love the Airdrop feature and having a hard time dealing with the issue.

    Hi,

I have the same problem as you. No Airdrop between iPhone 6s (iOS 9.3.2) and MBP Mid 2015 (OS X El Capitan 10.11.5).

    Any solution?

    Thanks

Your not on your own the greatest heap of rubbish that Apple has delivered to date iOS 9.2.3 for the past week I have been fighting it  factory reset after factory reset hard restarts trying to downgrade to iOS 9.3.1 all to no avail. I have NO notifications at all except vibrate so I have to have the phone basically in my hand to know if I am getting and incoming call even no notifications on text messenger Facebook and now I discover it will not connect via bluetooth to my vehicle AV hands free system that I have been using for the past 2 yrs. Also same as you no Air Drop NOTHING. All sounds and notifications are on and working when I test on the phone mt tablet will connect to my car bluetooth my partners Samsung connects but iPhone NO not since this piece rubbish iOS 9.3.2 came along.

NOT HAPPY APPLE NOT HAPPY at all.

Same problem here, unable to AirDrop from brand new Macbook Pro or brand new Macbook 12 to iPhone 6s Plus.  All have the latest OS versions. All setup to AirDrop: Everyone.  No firewall setup.  Wifi and Bluetooth turned on.  This is a critical feature in Apple products and doesn't work, very frustrating.

With further research, I have learned that the issue is with my iCloud ID.  If I sign out from iCloud, I'm able to AirDrop both ways, from Mac to iOS and iOS to Mac.  When I sign in to iCloud, I cannot AirDrop from Mac to iOS, the iOS devices do not show up in the Mac.

No sorry to say none at all as of now. My phone call notifications started working magically was not working one day got up the next morning and it's working al least I know when someone is calling me now. As far as notifications for messages FB or anything else nothing. I give up Apple has obviously got lots of grubs in it since the man Steve Jobs passed it's done nothing but try to reinvent itself without much success. Anything past iPhone5  is bigger but does not have the build quality and as far as software and updates go my Partners Samsung Galaxy edge plus kills Apple.  For performance build quality and updates plus speed.

I have figure out that my issue is related to my iCloud ID.  Apple support is working on it.  Somehow my iCloud ID is not letter my iOS devices are not showing up in Mac AirDrop finder.
